In 2001 our hearts were stolen by a gorgeous little pup called Sassy. An energetic Hunterway Lab cross, she was full of life and always rearing to go. But 12 years of chasing every moving thing eventually caught up with her, and Sassy started to show signs of old age.

Desperate to bring her sassiness back we began researching various supplements and nutrients and were impressed by the range of health benefits. So we started giving her a very basic oil supplement - mainly hemp seed oil - and noticed a change almost immediately. Her coat became shinier, she moved more freely and seemed more perky and happy in general.

We thought if that’s what some basic oil can do, imagine if we combined all the best natural ingredients in one bottle and gave it to her, so that’s what we did! We created a supplement for pets, and just a spoonful a day kept Sassy in good health and good spirits for those precious final years.

Knowing we had discovered something special, we were driven to share our success with our fellow pet lovers. So together with a team of animal nutrition scientists we’ve transformed the therapeutic home-brew we started with into a highly refined, perfectly balanced, all natural pet supplement. Our first blend is tailored to senior dogs, but we have plans to roll out products that meet the needs of puppies and working dogs as well as cats and kittens. We’re also on the cutting edge of medicinal cannabis research and are excited about the potential of cannabidiol for improving animal health. So we’re working with Helius Therapeutics to create New Zealand’s first CBD product for pets.
