Our ingredients

All ingredients have been carefully chosen in order to provide the best health benefits to your pet.

Hemp seed oil

Hemp seed oil is a major source of essential Omega fatty acids 3 and 6. Which are vital for joint and heart health, along with skin and coat vitality, as they regulate blood pressure and inflammatory responses. A common source of these Omegas is fish oil. The benefit of Hemp Seed oil, is that unlike fish oil, the ratio of Omega 3 versus Omega 6 is at the ideal ratio for what the body needs, hemp seed oil also has a higher concentration of Omegas than fish oil, and is a much more sustainable and environmentally friendly source.

Flaxseed oil

Flaxseed oil is loaded with essential fatty acids like omega-3. When combined with hemp seed oil it makes sure your pet is getting all the essential fatty acids they need.

Milk Thistle

Milk thistle is one of the most extensively researched and proven natural remedies. The main benefit of milk thistle is that it aids in the recovery of the liver and kidneys. Helping them deal with toxins such as flea treatments, anaesthesia, vaccinations, worm, steroids or any other medicines faster. The science shows that milk thistle is more effective at assisting the liver if it is already in the system when the toxins are absorbed by the dog, meaning a regular intake of it works best.

Turmeric

Turmeric is a fairly common spice that you would find in many kitchens, however perhaps not so common in the Western world are the medicinal benefits of this spice. For centuries Turmeric has been used in Aruvedic medicine in India and other places, in order to treat inflammation and other diseases. Studies have shown Turmeric can help reduce inflammation and pain in animals. It is also a great antioxidant.

Prebiotics

Carefully selected prebiotics help to assist with gut health. Prebiotics provide the gut with the basic blueprint in order to produce healthy gut bacteria. A balanced gut means good digestion which is important to ensure your pet gets all the nutrients they need from their food and minimize their chance of any digestive upset.

Nucleotides

Nucleotides are the basic building blocks of DNA and are essential to cell regeneration, an increasingly important function as your dog starts to age.

Spirulina

Spirulina is another source of Omega 3, however they are different to the Omegas that are found in the oils. These Omegas specifically help with cognitive function, so it supports the brain and keeps the mind sharp. This is especially important as pets get older, a healthy mind helps to keep a healthy body!

Cranberry

Cranberry has been shown to aid bladder health by reducing the amount of nasty bacteria in the bladder and therefore keeping it focused on its core function of eliminating toxins from the body. Cranberry also assists dental health by reducing bacteria on the teeth and therefore minimizing tooth decay which can be a common problem especially in older pets.
